@MPboro2 I wish I’d had thought about this a few weeks ago when my year 3s were finding fractions tricky. I’ll definitely use this idea when we revisit!
Year 3 have been exploring ammonites in their project learning this term and in Art have been sketching ammonites, building up to making their own printing tile of their chosen design. Today they were able to use their tiles to make a 2 coloured print. Don’t they look effective?!
Year 3 were given the task of sketching and constructing a model of the Earth showing all of its layers for this week’s home learning. What a fantastic job they’ve done too! We are all very proud of your efforts and thankful for the support of your families.

Year 3 have been learning more about the Eatwell Guide in Science today as they sorted foods into their food groups and discussed how much of each group made up a balanced diet. Perhaps you can work out which food groups you are eating for dinner tonight at home...🥗🥯🥩🥞🍫🥚🍒
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
@Claire74578334 Hope even got a mention in one of the Y6 leaver's memories on Friday. Lovely that they remembered those who were in their class but had moved along the course of the 7 years.
