3. Some of my first year students, who now go to @SMEastLancers (🤯) came to volunteer in my classroom this week. They are apart of the @SME_SHARE program — that helps get students involved in volunteering opportunities. So proud of these wonderful girls! 💖

2. On Tuesday, 6th grade participated in a BOOK TASTING! One of my very favorite lessons of the year to get students interested in books they may have not chosen off the shelf themselves. Our favorite was The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. 💚

A few of highlights from this week,
1. I turned 28 on Tuesday. I’m pretty sure this is one of the few professions that people are genuinely VERY EXCITED for you when you turn 28 on a Tuesday. 😂 I love this class with my whole heart!! Thanks for celebrating with me 🧡💗🧡

In buddies this week, we practiced our engineering skills and built towers out of index cards. Miss Adler and I were so impressed with the designs and the student’s growth mindsets! Always such a fun way to top off our week! #SMSDTimeToShine
