@RTL_CoalitionOH I urge you to consult current medical research on birth control methods & revise your stance to specific methods that can actually prevent implantation & endorse those that have never been observed preventing implantation. #birthcontrol
@RRR0BYN Happily child free in my 30’s. Not panicking at all. Honestly more worried for my nieces than anything that they have to grow up in such a terrible society. If I want kids, I’ll foster/adopt. #childfree#happy
@woitas82400@sensorystories_ At my neuro psych testing for adhd, I was told it was pretty pointless to test for autism, because as a adult they won’t do anything for the autism & I will get the same kind of supports for adhd dx.
@arielthemidwife @brande71113 How many embryos will be destroyed in the pursuit or remain frozen for an unknown amount of time. It isn’t the surrogacy itself that is the problem, it’s the lives left in its wake that is the issue for me
@JanieGirlTX Probably won’t be able to have a relationship w/him until he gets dementia. Absolutely DO NOT give up anything for an abuser. Your care is not owed to anyone. I will pray for peace for you, I think the relationship is not salvageable until he changes. Sorry
Them: Autism is way overdiagnosed and everyone's saying they're autistic now because it's "in" 😒
Me: No. People are finally discovering their very real MISSED diagnoses because better information about autism is being shared in accessible ways.
I am pro-vaccines that WORK.
The current covid vax is not sufficient enough to rely on for protection from covid. It doesn’t prevent you from catching covid, becoming disabled from covid, developing long covid conditions, or dying from covid complications.
Covid and long covid are still without a cure. The vax isn’t intended to serve as an end-all be-all, but that’s how the general public is treating it. Society is oblivious to the longterm damage covid is inflicting onto their bodies. This damage is often silent, until it isn’t.
Unfortunately, the capacity for nuance is required for this conversation. Calling people anti-vax for demanding ADEQUATE covid vaccines is untrue and unhelpful.
Most people (ahem ⚪️!) aren’t used to being systemically abandoned by our leaders, but this is part of what that looks like— the death of public health. Throwing the disabled, elderly, and multiply marginalized to the wayside is as American as apple pie, which is why you’re okay with abandoning them in your everyday lives. But by the time it knocks on YOUR door, it’ll be far too late.
Individualistic approaches to collective issues get us nowhere. Air is shared, indoors and outdoors. Getting vaxxed and boostered, masking up in public, staying home when sick, avoiding large gatherings, etc are how to adapt to this reality. Going a step further would be demanding clean air, adequate ventilation and filtration, paid sick leave, etc.
Covid remains the biggest workers’ rights issue of our time and is a mass disabling event. The intersectionalities at play and at risk cannot be overstated. I know apathy is like cool rn or whatever but I cannot stress this enough: it’s time to give a fuck.
Listen to the communities most disproportionately impacted by an issue. They’re speaking from life experience and they know more than you. It’s okay to not know things, but it’s your responsibility to act accordingly when presented with new information.
@broadwaybabyto@safetylawyer1 I am 100% appalled. I’m not impressed with partisan stuff & would gladly identify as democrat, but they constantly tell me I don’t belong & alienate me. I’m kind of over here being fringe. I want all the help for children.
@broadwaybabyto@safetylawyer1 I certainly don’t think our health care should be tied to our jobs. I’m unsure of how universal health care could work given Canada’s long wait lists for care. I fully stand against cuts to Medicaid and idk any prolife person who supports them.
