The federal government has appointed Major General Faisal Naseer (Dirty Harry) recipient of the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Basalat, as the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).

His appointment has been made for a three-year term.

Based on specific intelligence input, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice and @crpf_srinagar in general area Ashdar Gali, Budgam.

Vigilant troops observed suspicious activity and upon being challenged, terrorists opened fire, prompting a fierce exchange of gunfire during which One terrorist neutralised and one AK rifle and other war-like stores recovered.

TBN Monitoring: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack carried out this morning by its Fatah Squad targeting a Pakistani military convoy in the Walpat area of Lasbela.
According to the spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the attack resulted in dozens of Pakistani military personnel being killed or wounded.
The BLA has claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that further details will be released to the media in due course.

🇮🇳 J&K: Security forces recovered a weapons cache during a search operation in the Khataji Ridge forests of Reasi district’s Mahore area.

The cache included a pistol, grenade, AK-47 and PIKA ammunition, 184 rounds in total, six cassettes and an AK magazine, officials said.

Breaking News: Armed individuals have reportedly set up a roadblock on the Harnai–Yakmach CPEC link road in the Gwash area of Kharan. Paramilitary sources suggest that a bus belonging to Al-Aziz Company has been seized.

It is worth noting that four days earlier, the same bus was reportedly attacked while it was transporting FC personnel as part of a convoy.

Monitoring: BRG claims fighters briefly seized Bhag city, Kachhi (Bolan), during a pre-dawn operation, killing five Pakistani military personnel and downing two military quadcopters. Breaking: A major attack has targeted Pakistani forces on the Karachi–Quetta Highway in Lasbela district, Balochistan. According to preliminary reports, two vehicles came under attack and subsequently caught fire. There are also reports of a significant number of casualties.

Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released details of ten of its members who were killed during the course of its armed campaign, paying tribute to them.

According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, Captain Akhtar Dawood, Khalil Ahmed alias Ustad Owais, Imran alias Ajo, Hasil alias Munir Ahmed, Inayatullah alias Sher Zaman, Asad Rahim, Mujeebur Rahman alias Shay Mureed, Sahil alias Arman, Javed alias Murshid, and Muhammad Younis alias Talib were killed in separate clashes and incidents.

The organization also released details regarding their backgrounds, organizational roles, and activities in different areas, and paid tribute to them.

An explosion was reportedly heard near Killi Darozai on Gelo Road in Gulistan, Qilla Abdullah district. A large cloud of dust was also reportedly seen in the area.
