Thread alert! Our usual Pupil Parliament (PP) was modified this session to keep everyone safe in their class bubbles. Instead of meeting in our school families each class chose a project to lead. Our PP aims to be inclusive & provide our learners with opportunities to participate

It was wonderful to explore part of our local community today! P2 loved visiting the Orchard and spotting different flowers, fruit trees and bug houses 🌸🐜 P2 listened carefully to instructions, were sensible when crossing roads and tidied up after themselves! #proudteacher 🤩☀️

Tomorrow we’re going on a short outing to the Orchard. Please send your child in with suncream applied and a hat. They can also wear comfortable clothes and wellies if they wish but not essential as we won’t be going in the water ☺️🌳

P2 had a design challenge today to create their own football tops ⚽️🎽 we had lots of very cool designs and did very well to include all the different criteria 💡⭐️ #EUROS2020

P2 have learned what ‘to estimate’ means - they estimated the length and height of objects in cubes and worked with a partner to find the exact length of objects in our classroom⭐️👏🏼#bpscommunity

A wonderful week in P2. We have done some fab partner work to spot alliteration and we had a go at writing our own sentences. We loved soft start breakfast today and seeing our new P3 teacher again! 🍞✏️⭐️ Happy weekend!

P2 have loved ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ by @OliverJeffers. Last week the postie dropped off letters for us from lots of other objects who had quit P2! Glue sticks, pens, rubbers... P2 wrote hilarious letters from the objects saying why they quit! ⭐️✍️
