@carliesorosiak I’ve observed my 12 year old completely shunning recommended reads over the last few years. She’s always reading but prefers stories closer to real life or that are not too scary. The problem for me is finding which books are appropriate for her age group as lots of YA is not.

@MrsFPrice So sorry for your loss. My parents lost a baby before I was born. My daughter was born on the same day so many years later and that has made the day a little easier for them.
