We have just been informed that due to excess, we will be receiving a refund of £40! Just what you need to hear when you’re on SSP because you’re undergoing chemotherapy. The greed of these companies never fails to amaze me! Avoid at all costs.

In addition to this I’ve been sent a photo with about 6 tickets on, one of which wasn’t mine, saying this was all I’d sent back. Completely untrue, I sent all tickets back registered delivery. I will never book through your company again. Abysmal customer service

@thetrainline your customer service is appalling. My train journey for a family day out was cancelled. I was informed I could have a refund but needed to return my tickets. I did this but I’m now being told my train wasn’t cancelled, despite providing proof that they were.
