These are also the same people who would like me to censor my views and opinions but feel it is okay for them to express theirs, no matter how unreasonable they are, and expect me to listen (again, without giving an opinion in return).

People drive me absolutely bonkers when they ask me to be honest and call them out on things they do that hurt me because when I do, they shut me down abruptly as they don’t like (or don’t want to hear) what I’m saying.

Mainly because they are the same people who are usually rude when they think they’re being honest and feel like they can point out all your flaws without consequence or remorse.
