If you are a Superintendent or School Board member, and teachers in your district are buying their own classroom supplies, or having to crowd-fund them, then you have, in some very fundamental way, failed.
@AahdayAdetoun @mrhughes2298 It’s truly helps when you want to crash! I’m totally into completion shows (baking shows) are my fav! #EDSelfCare#treatyourself
Final Thoughts: Having a community of teachers in your corner and finding something you enjoy helps. And taking time for yourself!
Take time to read! Do yoga! Binge-watch Tv or Movies!Sleep!Or indulge in your favorite treats! Whatever makes you happy! #EDSelfCare#TreatYourSelf
A3: At the beginning of the year, I would practice routines and procedures daily ! And my kids would read the expectations after our SEL question . Now students reflect back to the expectations of the class . #PostCovidTeacherTalk
Closing : Using interactive tools is cool and can be very engaging. But engagement starts with being you, a human and open to change. Change happens daily in our classrooms. We (educators) are the first avenue to engagement. It starts with us first. #PostCovidTeacherTalk
@AEDUTECH22 It’s a really good resource . The kids love it and they had a fun game called Time to Climb and they could compete with other peers . You can do review games. #PostCovidTeacherTalk
A1: I still use I-ready and Zearn! I started to use NearPod the kids enjoyed it and it’s some cool review games you can create. NearPod is like Google Slides but student can interact with the slides. I also found 99math as well. #PostCovidTeacherTalk
A2: I think my students writing has gotten better. We try to practice writing within the lines and several students are getting better! So, I’m super proud of that! #PostCovidTeacherTalk
