A2- My class read the Man Who Loved Clowns by June Rae Wood. It is a chapter book but it taught so many emotions. The theme of the book is to treat others with respect even if they are different. This book would go with think win-win. #WSEbulldogchat

A5- My students want to please their peers and they are competitive. I think they would enjoying “bragging” to their partner that they met their goal. Maybe if a pair of students meet their goal then they could earn something small so they will push each other. #WSEBulldogChat

A4- Like I said we have data binders. We also have a data bulletin board for class data. This include attendance, illuminate, areading/amath, and adventually millionaires. I should add 100% on Reflex too. #WSEBulldogChat

A3- My students have a binder. It has all of their data in it for conferences and for when we meet on Fridays. Right now they can look at past assessments, compare areading/amath ss and ATOS, reading logs. It is organized for all 4q. I want to include bahavior. #WSEBulldogChat

A2- My students are really enjoying our read aloud time. With our last book a lot of kids laughed and cried. I want that excitement/emotion to carry over into their own book. They are also excited for data tracking (mostly so they can join the millionaire club) #WSEBulldogChat

A1- 5th grade is working hard to prepare our students for middle school. It is important that we maximize instruction time so that our students are learning as much as possible. Reading has been our main focus with read alouds, tasks, iblock, etc. #WSEBulldogChat

A3- I would like if our school was uniformed with our theme/color for the year. Also, I saw in another building that they had character traits above the teachers doors. I’ve also seen on social media where they make hopscotch and paths for students to walk/hop on.#wsebulldogchat

A2- I really like the new dog tags. Students get to “brag” about individual achievements. I would love to continue to think of things that can be added like kid of character, clubs, and even birthdays so everyone has something that can be added. #WSEBulldogChat
