My best advice, especially for newer creators: keep creating!
Be consistent. Make it easy to contact you. Keep your profiles updated. Build your community. Apply for things that make sense for you.
A creator we say “not yet” to today could be someone we work with in the future.💜
You also won’t be the right fit for every activation, and that’s okay!
Sometimes we need larger creators. Sometimes niche creators, newer voices, or specific regions, platforms, games or content styles.
A “no” doesn’t mean your content is bad.
For future opportunities: please don’t send angry DMs/emails because you weren’t selected.
It’s fair to be disappointed or disagree with a decision, and constructive feedback is welcome! But being rude to the people reviewing applications definitely won’t help.
Seeing someone consistently create, improve their content, build an audience, and show genuine interest over time makes it MUCH easier to consider them for future opportunities!
The opportunity shouldn’t make you consistent. Your consistency helps you GET the opportunity.
Consistency helps SO much. You don’t need 100K followers, but don’t use an opportunity to prove you’ll start being consistent.
“If you invite me, I promise I’ll stream/make a ton of content!” is harder to bet on than someone who is already consistently doing it.
For newer creators: PLEASE keep applying! We love seeing new creators pop up and show interest, but if your channel is only a month or two old, it’s really hard to know what your content will look like long-term, or if you’ll still be creating 6 months from now.
For those who got in & those who didn’t, I want to transparently share some things we look at:
• Consistent content
• Audience growth
• Engagement
• Fit for the opportunity
We do look at channel size, but it’s never the only factor. We look for a balance of all of the above!
Hundreds of creators submitted and we reviewed every application. Even with Convergence Fest being larger than past events, spots are still limited and we unfortunately have to be selective.
Hi! I don’t tweet often, but I lead global Influencer for TFT and work closely with our creator community, including on Convergence Fest.
Since notices just went out, I wanted to share some transparency into how we evaluate creator applications & opportunities 🧵
We are aware that some Fan First ticket codes for Convergence Fest are not working as intended right now. The team is actively investigating the issue, and while we work on a fix, affected codes will not expire or rotate.
If you’ve already received a code, your opportunity to purchase tickets is secured, so there’s no risk of missing out while this is being resolved.
Hey folks- We’re prepping a C-patch with another ~20 or so bug fixes and will be re-enabling Double Up.
You’ll get full details from @TFT closer to when the C-patch goes live today, but here are the biggest pieces:
- Client Stability/performance around Mobile: fixing the “update available” issues some devices are experiencing and other mobile crashes
- Memory Leak/VFX issues: cleaning up a few particle/memory accumulation issues that have hindered performance across all platforms. More work to come here.
- Visual/UI cleanup: fixing some issues with health bars. We will keep pushing on the UI to get rid of that mobile/blurry feeling on PC.
- Fixing the issue with loot landing outside the board on certain arenas
- Adding a spinner on loading screen so it's clear whether there is an issue or not with you getting into game
There are a ton more bug fixes coming in the patch later today, and more in-depth work happening for 18.2 along with discussions of more patches before then as needed as we want to move the needle as quickly as possible.
These are the high-level focuses right now to bring the most change we can in the short-term. Expect more updates soon and thank you again as we work through all of this. We will continue to ensure you all are as informed as possible
As we get closer to the end of the year, bumping this form for anyone cosplaying Runeterra characters (League, TFT, Riftbound, etc) in the Americas. https://t.co/pJWg7m7ldb
Helps us find cosers when we need someone with a specific look or in a specific area. :D
Cosplayer, creator, or press? Fill this out! Spots are limited, and submitting does not guarantee selection!!
Creator tip: Make sure your bio has a contact email + country! The easier you are to reach, the easier it is for brands to find you for future opportunities! 💜
