@ArmaghI Your articles lately seem to just be a means of getting people to click ads when trying to disable cookies.
For that reason, I'll stop clicking into your articles entirely.
It used to be an interesting read, now it's just redirects to totally irrelevant ads.
Pure shyte now
@irishexaminer Gardaí simply need to listen to what the policy is and enforce that. They uphold the laws, they don't create them.
Gardaí don't want to lose the ability to search every individual on the street over a smell.. Look for knives!
We've tried their methods, look where it got us.
@HiberniaFrog@dubslife1@FrankFeighan@drugsdotie @DonnellyStephen @GYDTcanada The answer is regulation actually, everything in moderation.
Really helps when the supply isn't contaminated, so at least we'll know what people actually consumed. Not just what that substance was marketed as..
@KennedyAnalysis You summarised it perfectly, and you've been saying it for years too.
It's sad that they don't want to listen, but it can't be total ignorance at this point.
@NeilGerardFox @caulmick@jackfchambers "Might as well be" - and you still didn't answer, seems you're not aware of anything they've achieved either.
Ciao
@WolfeToneEmmet@NatalieORegan1 But they're already smoked in public, largely without consequence.
Keeping them illegal hasn't gotten rid of them since they started prohibiting "drugs" in the 30's.
It's time to try a different approach Diarmuid.
@r_crainn While this was going on, it was discovered government figures had met with the prohibition side and seemingly had all the time in the world for their input, as it aligned with their antiquated views.
@r_crainn "Representatives from the Government and State felt that they were ‘approachable’"
Absolute nonsense, a crowd of Irish activists had been trying to contact representatives for over a year and hardly anyone got an answer or reply.
They've their head in the sand, same old rubbish
@JayHawker@r_crainn A bit unfair? How unfair is locking someone up when it's not going to benefit anyone.
You can be sure he's well compensated for his role, so I don't have any sympathy for him answering tricky (legitimate) questions.
@ActingTheGom I wouldn't mind it being €2.50 for a bottle of coke, if they mandated bottles of water for 50c or something. But it's an absolute money grab.
I remember getting cans of Spar cola for 25p. Country Spring was class though.
