People conflate the sins of debt financing with capitalism so much forgetting that co-relation is not causation. Inequalities have existed in human society long before capitalism, there's not much class mobility in communism or socialism. These MFs would just keep changing the mask of oppression but maintain the very mechanism that keeps them in control. "The borrower would always be slave to the lender" is the root of inequality, hence, why the Bible warned against usury (charging interest on loans), in this case the interest compounds and keeps the borrower more captive to the lender.

There can never be equal distribution of outcomes because there isn't equal distribution of risk.

The more you clamor for this, they will just give you a social credit system, universal basic income and AI to manage and govern it all. Maybe you prefer "the algorithm" distributing resources to you.

The main issue is the monetary system and debt financing, u can change taxation laws, banish the rich and divide all their spoils equally, as long as you have fiat currencies (money back by nothing of value, used to be gold), compound interest and a system where money can't be generated without lending first, the master-slave dynamic will continue to exist. With Socialism, your politicians would become the new billionaires (power over resource control) and inequality will remain because they will be purveyors of distribution according to needs esteemed by them not any objective market forces, well in this case it will be AI that governs, let's see how u like when an algorithm determines what you and your family get.

The soviet block got destroyed eventually, bread lines were formed, Chinas Mao, point is, socialism is very easy to romanticize when u want to highlight the downsides of crony capitalism and debt financing (which is the root cause of all these problem), fiat currency (money not backed by anything of value e.g. gold), compounding interest, debt is what actually creates the master-slave dynamic in modern day society because the borrower will always be slave to the lender. All that to say, historical precedence doesnt creed kind to socialism as the way forward youre better off iterating a whole new system non-contingent on capitalism, socialism or communism thats the real test of ingenuity, not repeated failed experiments.

They've lost out to designer sneakers, which come in more variant styles and colorways. Nikes have been relegated to stock and trade, OG and errand wear. It's not considered high fashion street wear anymore. Their designs need more "edge" and cool. The narrative behind the shoes is also dead and doesnt appeal to Gen Z ideologically speaking. "Just Do it" spoke to the ambitious nature of millennials, they have 0 messaging for Gen Z
