There is a man in my street who lost his job two months ago. I have been trying to secure one for him but have not been able to.

Yesterday was his birthday. I visited him with some foodstuffs and cash just to support the family. The little surprise turned into a mini celebration.

Then his wife changed the entire atmosphere.

She presented him with an envelope. He opened it. Inside was a cheque of 15,000,000 naira.

She said, "Honey, I have been saving for rainy days. Since you lost your job I have been holding on, hoping you would get another one soon. Since it is not forthcoming, it is best you have this to start a business. You are very good with cars. I think you should start selling car parts and oil."

She did not even finish before tears rolled down his face.

You could feel the love in that room.

I was speechless. I was emotional. But above everything, this gave me hope again. ❤️
