@AndyGlockner I agree, which is something Brunson shouldn’t be getting docked for, but the Spurs should’ve made things 10x harder for him than they did.
@AndyGlockner Nice hit. Go watch the 4th quarters. The spurs played scared. Nobody wanted to shoot. Game 5 I think I watched them take 6 straight pull up long 2s in the 4th. Complete meltdowns.
@AndyGlockner The spurs should’ve been putting Brunson in PnR every time down the floor. Idc how well he was defending - that’s beside the point - you gotta go at him regardless, just to tire him out. Also, do I really need to clarify how the Spurs choked? Wtf lol
@AndyGlockner He was super clutch down the stretch, credit to him. But he doesn’t deserve any credit for the Spurs choking 3 games away & somehow not attacking him relentlessly on the other end of the floor. It was a nightmare series for Wemby and the Spurs.
@AndyGlockner Not sure which part of this to reply to, but I feel like I watched a different finals than everyone else. He was great in game 5, especially in the 4th. But they were better with him off the floor throughout the playoffs and he was straight up not good the first 1/2 of the finals
The Celtics are NOT shopping Jaylen Brown and are trying to figure out how to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo without trading him, per @GwashburnGlobe
The Celtics being Giannis next team is down to 39% on Kalshi
@AppleseedBurner@StoolGreenie Right! Boston went toe to toe with the Cavs, but Tatum wasn’t even the best player on that team after their injuries. It was Horford. Greenie should really rewatch that series. Specifically game 7 4th quarter. They didn’t have a 1A - that was their issue.
@Gvvjqz@putxiwhipped5@StoolGreenie Tatum was good. Don’t wanna take anything away from him. It’s just not comparable to what Jimmy did in 2020. There’s just no way
@StoolGreenie Tatum wasn’t even necessarily the 1A also. Again, this takes nothing away from him. But Jaylen had a higher usage rate that series and I’d also argue Horford was their best player. Tatum hit a big 3, but if you rewatch game 7, they leaned on Horford and Smart down the stretch.

@LegenJerryAD@StoolGreenie Hey Greenie seems to disagree, and judging by the replies it seems there a lot more who think so too lol, so maybe it is a hot take… shouldn’t be tho.
