Having a great first week with my new position as Director of @UNCG_URSCO! Yesterday we welcomed in about 70 Research Fellows who are first year undergrads and today we celebrated students who were funded to do summer research. It’s great to celebrate changing lives!

As one door closes, another one opens. Yesterday I finished my position of Interim Dean of @GreensboroNano and today I started as the Director of @UNCG_URSCO! I’ll miss my @ncatsuaggies friends, but I enjoy being back on the @UNCG campus. Fun times ahead!

Within the last 24 hours I got to watch @UNCGSoftball play three games (including a victory over UConn) and hosted @GreensboroNano in the Spartan Spot to watch @UNCGBasketball beat Western Carolina. Great weekend so far! @UNCG

Had a great time watching @UNCGSoftball play Ohio State. They were tied after six but Ohio State ended up pulling ahead in the seventh. Great game!

Had a great time at the @UNCGBasketball vs @ncatbasketball game today. Brought a bunch of @GreensboroNano researchers to the game, and since we are all with both @UNCG and @ncatsuaggies we were guaranteed a win!

On Saturday my younger two had a great tournament and then finished the day with holiday lights at the @GSOSciCenter and even ride a @UNCG horse on the carousel!

I love finishing the work week on a good note. This week it was a great seminar by @uncg_chem faculty Jerry Walsh who gave an amazing summary of his career and then outdoor group meeting!
