The #1 reasons Web3 fails at mass adoption is the lack of on demand data publication.
That is the problem Obsidian is built around.

Who's exited for the @Obsidian_DBT2 Blockchain to launch?
Obsidian is a brand new layer 1 BlockChain that prioritizes data (messaging) transfer.
Message wallet to wallet, on-chain, using our Rock Messenger App.
Signal, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, iMessage, all own and control your data.
Ownership of this data is centralized, it can be hacked, subpoenaed, or just lost.
The Obsidian Blockchain solves this.
Users (like you) own their data.
Data is decentralized on the blockchain, via archive nodes and validators.
No pinning, no middlemen, just complete and fully encrypted data ownership.
I'm sure exited... and we are getting closer to completing our founders round (equity raise).
Are you intrigued?

@yourfriendSOMMI I love and support Pulsechain.
My team and I also developed a new blockchain @Obsidian_DBT2 with sequential dual-block technology. Check it out https://t.co/xZrAQe4Th4
From the time I graduated High School in 2016 to around 2019 I would write opinion pieces on politics, business, and Biblical topics.
Censorship, repeated censorship from social media platforms like Facebook, shut independent thinkers and authors (like me) down.
I am on my 3rd Facebook account.
This does not only happen on social media.
During covid, Farmers State Bank in Waupaca, WI, explicitly stated, and I quote, directly from a loan officer and bank executive in the bank lobby, with his hand outstretched with finger pointing, saying “you piece of sh$t”, this was followed by “you cannot bank here unless you compromise your morals.”
Both of these accusations were aimed directly at me, @Mitchell_Rotta, because I choose to stand up against the “mask mandates” and declare that life and breath only come from the Lord. This was not received well at this bank.
More recently, and without cause I was also de-banked at US Bank, my speculation is because of my deep involvement in the blockchain or crypto space.
Censorship does not end at public forums or banking institutions. It goes further, to the tax sheltered businesses labeled as the “American Church”.
Let’s define the term Church right away. The Church is the body of Christ, the hands, feet, mouth, ears, and eyes of the living body.
The Church is not a building and there are to be no factions of the body. We are one body that follows one doctrine, the Bible, the word of God.
When the local Church leaders were confronted with a choice during covid, they failed. They closed the building, stopped meeting together, and choose to submit to an un-Godly authority outside of Gods law and the law of the land, the U.S. Constitution.
This was not a rare case and became the norm for the country.
Cowardice.
I saw all of this and started asking questions to the leaders. Why is this the right call? Does this align with Gods law? Is this decision made of fear? Liability? What about the Constitution?
Either weak or no answers were given. Therefore, as a man of action, I gave a solution.
My solution was to take on the “liability” myself. I would have one of my companies rent the building and pay leaders to be there if needed, as employees. This effectively eliminates the “fear of liability” and any excuses.
The answer I received was to be scolded, removed from group communication, removed from the Facebook group, and censored.
Censorship is still here. Even after Musk acquiring X, Trump and Truth Social, you don’t own most or any of your data or communication.
Every time I run into evil, whether it be physically hearing distressed voices of children crying from a basement in California, a piece of content I write on biblical truth, a political take, censorship always shows up.
From “Pastors”, elected officials, Google, Facebook, Banks, Businesses, the list goes on.
As of now, I will be continuing to pick up where I left off to write, make videos, and create content on social media.
For those of you wondering why I am so passionate about censorship, privacy, and decentralized data, this is why.
This is what sparked the creation of a new technology and the @Obsidian_DBT2 Blockchain, as well as our new messenger app, Rock.

Sommi! New project that I helped develop. It's a new Layer 1 that has native on-chain messaging function. We literally created sequential dual-block technology to accomplish this. Check it out at https://t.co/kPyTiMzx0n and feel free to DM me here on X.
Also for reference, I have attended the PulseChain conference in Vegas and hold PLS, PLSX, HEX, and eHEX.
I learned a lot from mining Bitcoin.
For those of you who are curious about what "mining" is, I will share an overview.
Bitcoin is simply a public ledger of all transactions on the network, called the Bitcoin blockchain.
You are able to send or receive Bitcoin(s) on the Bitcoin Blockchain.
Any amount from a "Satoshi" 0.00000001 BTC to 1,000,000+ BTC can be sent by or received to your wallet address.
When you send or receive a Bitcoin(s), this transaction is broadcasted to the network.
About every 10 minutes, these transactions are grouped together into a "block".
A block contains a list of verified transactions, a reference to the previous block, a timestamp, and a unique digital fingerprint.
This block is added to the "blockchain".
A blockchain is literally chain of these blocks containing records of transactions.
A miner is specialized computer that verifies (validates) that the current block is authentic by repeatedly running a cryptographic algorithm, SHA-256.
This means "mining" is verifying that all transactions are legitimate.
To verify, or mine a block on the Bitcoin Blockchain, a miner is required to do work that makes the block impossible to fake (run the SHA-256 algorithm).
Running this algorithm is like solving a complex computer puzzle.
Solving it takes both time and a lot of electricity, which prevents cheating or changing transactions.
There are millions of miners working on solving this puzzle. The first miner to solve the puzzle is rewarded with Bitcoin.
The current reward for mining a block is 3.125 Bitcoin, and on average it takes 10 minutes for the first miner to solve the puzzle and mine the block.
Once mined, the block is permanent, shared with the entire network, and added to the blockchain.
Mining is what secures the Bitcoin Blockchain and makes the transaction history secure and publicly available to anyone.
Bitcoin is great for sending secure transactions, significantly faster than traditional banks and cheaper than traditional banks for sending large transactions.
You are able to send or receive 24/7 with a cost of a few dollars worth of Bitcoin (BTC) per transaction, anywhere in the world, with any amount of BTC you own.
No censorship, no forms to fill out or holds on funds.
Pretty cool, right?!
However, by today's blockchain standards BTC is slow, taking around 10 minutes to complete a transaction, unable to utilize smart contracts, and more expensive than other options.
Blockchains like XRP, Solana, Ethereum, Cardano, ect, were created to improve on BTC's functionality.
XRP is faster and cheaper.
Ethereum introduced smart contracts to the world and allowed data, like NFT's, to be shared, Decentralized Exchanges to be created, and tokens to ride on and use Ethereums blockchain.
Solana made more improvements on speed and made token creation easy.
With all of these improvements, no one addressed on-chain communication.
This is what we solved with the @Obsidian_DBT2 Blockchain.
We are the only blockchain with a both transaction blocks and message blocks.
In addition, we are EVM compatible, which means your Ethereum wallet will work with Obsidian.
We are currently in the seed round funding stage for Obsidian.

No company owns the conversation.
No database can be wiped.
No history can be altered.
This is decentralized messaging done the right way.
If you care about privacy, data ownership, and where communication is heading next, this is worth paying attention to.

As we are nearing the end of 2025, my team and I are also nearing the launch of a brand new technology.
@Obsidian_DBT2 is the first layer 1 with a native messaging layer using our proprietary DBT² tech that powers our on-chain messenger app, "Rock".
