@mikedippy I agree, but at the same time, it’s not as wasteful as this video makes it look. I’m willing to bet 90% of this “waste” was melted down and reused.
@tubby_blumkins@big_kale_@ItsNewYokio btw, you know discs are just physical licenses now, right? You do know that a single firmware update could remove your ability to those games aswell, right?
@ChumBucketDrama i mean she’s literally right though. If you revoke consent during, and the other person backs of and respects it, then no, it’s not sexual assault. Sexual assault would be if you revoked consent but he didn’t stop. Obviously that’s not what happened.
@big_kale_@tubby_blumkins@ItsNewYokio sure, until it inevitably stops because it’s not affordable. If I like the convenience of digital games, why would I go buy a digital code at the store? If you like the novelty of physical games, why would YOU buy a digital code?
@big_kale_@tubby_blumkins@ItsNewYokio exactly. Selling digital codes in physical boxes doesn’t market to either side. Why would they waste money producing extra when nobody has a reason to buy it?
@big_kale_@tubby_blumkins@ItsNewYokio Because nobody on either side of this conversation care about codes in boxes. Digital ppl would rather just.. buy it digitally. And physical people won’t buy it because it’s a digital code.
@MzLadeeSuga discs are just physical licenses, btw. Thats why this whole drama makes me laugh. You have a disc, a single firmware patch could render it useless. But that’s just as likely as your license being revoked.
