As I sit here and think about how I want to set up my new save file, I have a few thoughts and wishes for BG updates. I'm going to post them to this thread and maybe keep it going as I think of new ones :)

I agree! As a legacy played I expected it to be more like the memories system from TS2. I loved looking back and seeing which parent taught them to walk etc
As someone who got introduced to the sims franchise by The Sims 2 PC, one thing I wish that was done better is Milestones in TS4 Growing Together.
Milestones have this weird categorization which ruins the chronological order of memories. Like I MUST know if my sims experienced their first fire before or after giving birth to their unfortunate looking child! Otherwise it's just another generic "stats" system :/
And so many milestones don't add much context (like ones in Life and Death, there's a milestone "First Loss" - doesn't mention who they lost at all and is the only death related memory in the entire game and it only is a "Firsts" type of memory, like what's the point of that?
Also milestones aren't loaded for sims outside the active household so if you form important relationships with sims, they simply won't have any milestones you'd expect. I get it's a lot of data to hold onto, but it's like, it's a life simulator, for there to be depth you kind of need to keep lots of data ๐ญ
I can't be the only simmer who loves the lore and history of the premades. #TheSims4RoyaltyLegacy
Cordelia is an ancestor or Tybalt and should be long dead but they have them as two different dynasties. I'm going to have to do some thinking on this.
Hey friends, please take a minute and vote for Sawyer for Baby of the Year

When is the sims team going to actually turn autonomy off?
It too hard to play with infants right now because sims are doing what they think they should, not what I tell them.
It's impossible to have a 'bad' parent sim unless you literally lock the door.
