@carlton13@tanky7@UKDecline Meanwhile. Sticking to the subject matter of countries defence spending. The rules were set out in DSPCR 2015
You can check that legislation on-line in which it states countries may procure domestically for security reasons. Which is something our EU partners fully embraced.
@carlton13@tanky7@UKDecline Under EU procurement rules, home countries were allowed (& other than the UK) were famed for pushing the rule that military needs can be met domestically for security reasons.
Claiming the UK would have had better opportunities if it had stayed in the EU is without foundation.
@JohnCrookes7 Labour have taken to lying as an every day occurrence.
They've no problem saying their disastrous government is "excellent progress".

If you think 18,000 supermarket job losses is bad, you aren’t paying attention
Since Labour came to power in 2024
▪️400,000 payroll jobs have gone
▪️155,000 fewer jobs vacant
▪️163,000 jobs to be lost in 2026
▪️1.7 MILLION now unemployed
▪️8.3 MILLION on UC
And rising 🔥
I agree people should be stopped from making large donations to political parties to buy influence and subsidies. A good example is Dale Vince giving £5 million to the Labour Party and getting £100 million+ in subsidies for his windmills in return. Will you be posting about him?
@bphillipsonMP Bridget.
You seem to have missed this 👇👇👇 & the community notes. Both of which seem to indicate you are outrightly lying. Say it ain't so

🚨 Erm… Bridget…
Your own website shows there are 1900 fewer teachers in schools than a year ago.
It’s using the same dataset you are selectively quoting.
Awkward.
Does this mean you are spreading misinformation?
@PaulBrandITV A question for Paul Brand 👇👇👇👇
I remember him being relentless re Boris but utterly silent at the numerous other politicians breaking COVID.

I have a simple question to ask on X.
Why are mainstream journalists and media outlets not examining the public evidence regarding Andy Burnham's role in the cover up of the Pakistani Rape Gangs during his tenure as Greater Manchester Mayor?
Serious questions have been raised by whistleblower Maggie Oliver. The public deserves to know why Burnham promoted an Assurance Review in Oldham described as 'nothing short of a cover up'.
Put aside my personal views for a moment. There are two possibilities here. Either Burnham and his so called team of experts set about delivering a sham review and protecting Labour Party politicians, council official and police officers, or concerns raised by a respected whistleblower are also baseless.
Journalists should be examining the facts and timeline in detail so voters can judge for themselves. Not one has. Why? With Burnham set to become Prime Minister, why is the evidence of his role in the Pakistani Rape Gang cover up being ignored?
The evidence is available for scrutiny, yet as the election approaches, there appears to be little media pressure to address this head-on. Just what do you think will happen once he becomes MP?
@englandcricket Just had to check as I've been popping in & out of the game all day.
Wondered for a minute if this was a one day game.
It's certainly going at pace.
@danielanadj77 You might want to look at the EU's role in the Balkan crisis. They made things worse.
PS NATO was the org that kept USSR at bay since WW2. Not the EU that formed in the late 90's.

@8thWondar@TwistedMcGee@JonathanPieNews I think outrage is too strong a term.
It's right that the Govt should focus on priority targets.
The issue is many people believe we have a two tier system. & strongly suspect if whites were the risk area, the Govt would do nothing so as to avoid racism claims.
@AdamPugh You seem to revel in displaying your ignorance. X is known for its freedom of speech, nor have you broken the law by openly declaring you're a racist
Being a racist like you is not illegal. Acting upon it is.
These rapist openly admitted hunting whites
https://t.co/7pWIFGTa5v
@AdamPugh You clearly lack comprehension or humility. You got it wrong but choose to dig a bigger hole.
You believe racism can only be experienced dependant of colour of skin. Which is in itself, racist & a touch of bigotry too.
Look up the definitions. I've even helped you.
@john_notabot Given that UK is the largest economy & the next biggest like Ireland, Germany & Holland who all suffered a technical recession & France is in target to do the same.
Your not comparing like with like but you know that. Also, you haven't quoted source of this dodgy claim.
@tcnoca@DavidTaylor85 Be fair. He was forced to go to Japan on an all expenses paid trip on behalf of his service to the people.
Fortunately he didn't have to dig into his £100k+ salary+ expenses that he's forced to endure whilst helping people.
@kittysull1 Labour MPs have taken to blatantly lying as a way to go.
All the evidence, check (any financial data source) confirms the UK did just as well as any EU country post Brexit.
Labour MPs want to rejoin contrary to the interest of the country. Purely for idealogical reasons.
@patmcfaddenmp@TorstenBell I see Torsten Bell switches off his replies. He would've missed this. But it equally applies to you.
https://t.co/Ayc3ZcwKAu
@martindvz Wow. When it comes to Brexit, a consistent liar points to a man who routinely lied under Project Fear. Lies about the liar, claiming he's not a liar
Which btw, is a lie.
