What is Project Quantum?

Earlier this year, @LucaNetz hyped it as "a new financial instrument" and "the baby of Abstract".

How cute 🫠

The Pengu PFPs that still support this documented grifter and scammer should demand answers about this Project Quantum nonsense 🤡

[Bitman @BitmanTW]

I’m not surprised that Web2 companies like Nike and Starbucks ended their Web3 programs.

What’s truly sad is how many people trusted Luca and Cygaar, names with established reputations in Web3, and spent over a year pouring time and money into accumulating Abstract points and climbing tiers, only to end up with nothing.

For a chain that once had so much anticipation behind it, there were opportunities to shut the program down earlier or hold a TGE when market conditions were favorable. Instead, they waited until the money ran out to tell everyone there would be no TGE.

Luca had even discussed the expected TGE timeline multiple times, and shortly before the shutdown, team members were still telling people in Discord that the program wasn’t shutting down.

I sincerely hope they offer some form of compensation to everyone who participated in Abstract, based on their respective tiers.

Some say that Abstract is "being responsible" by not launching a token with no pmf. But for years users spent real money on XP with the promise of a token. And these promises helped moon PENGU. Of which the team sold hundreds of millions of dollars worth. Compensate these people.

Luca Netz made me lose faith in Web3.

I was on Abstract from day one. I never stopped believing because Luca was behind it, and I trusted his promises. I spent around $40–50K and dedicated nearly two years of my life to it.

We were promised a token. They kept our hopes alive until the very end, only to tell us we would receive nothing for the Xp we had earned.

After all that time, money, and trust, I feel scammed by @LucaNetz I won’t stay silent

I have a confession to make.

@LucaNetz paid me to give an HONEST review of Abstract Chain.

So, Luca Schnetzle, here it is.

You spent months:

- selling the dream of mass adoption
- encouraging users to farm XP
- developers to build projects
- communities to invest their time, money and trust

You even promised

Abstract would become the biggest L2 “by a Texas mile”

and publicly asked to be held ACCOUNTABLE!

And what did everyone get?

- shutdown
- tens of millions burned
- another Web3 SCAM

The biggest thing Abstract rugged wasn't a token

It was people's TRUST

And before anyone calls me a salty farmer:

I farmed ZERO XP
I invested ZERO dollars
I lost absolutely NOTHING

I simply believe Web3 deserves better than endless promises followed by excuses and money extraction

So Luca, I hope you enjoyed my honest review

Because HONESTY is exactly what your community deserves from you

- a full explanation
- real transparency
- actual accountability

You asked people to hold you accountable

Well, here we are🐧🤡

alignment with public companies via stock pairs is still extremely underrated.

At some point, the most sensible thing for public companies will be to distribute stocks directly to holders via tokenization.

One of the biggest metas we had with crypto-native airdrops was the idea that you could target blue-chip holders: Pudgy, Punks, ETH OGs, and later through Kaito’s InfoFi.

HODLing stock pairs on LONG is the cleanest way to signal alignment with the stock.

For public companies, there are a few angles here:

1. You can’t find a better ROI on marketing spend than handing out stocks. Even something like $10m to a highly legit group of holders who can coordinate and amplify bullish sentiment.

2. Tokenized stocks create a sink for that cost. Minting $10m worth of stocks will necessarily capture some portion in liquidity pools. So even if holders sell back a big portion of the drop, the net mint can easily be 50% of the initial amount, without including the pairs that holders might reinvest in.

3. This can help companies have high circulating supply at IPO while improving absorption of sell pressure. The holy grail for pre-IPO companies struggling to figure out their “TGE tokenomics.”

There are already precedents for this sort of thing, with Robinhood offering OpenAI shares and drops for users.

We are very early in a new alchemy of finance.

LONG.
