When you realize you're deeply in love with them, you're faced with a harsh truth: you're either going to marry them or risk experiencing one of the most devastating heartbreaks of your life. There's no in-between - it's all or nothing. the depth of your love will either be your greatest strength or your biggest weakness.
Sometimes your only closure is knowing you had good intentions and a genuine heart. Even in the silence, even through the hurt, you gave what you could and what you gave was real. Not every story ends with an explanation or a final conversation. Some simply fade and eventually, you have to let them. But you can still hold onto the truth: you were honest, you cared and you loved with good intentions. Sometimes that has to be enough.
ive always had a sick fantasy, to be loved to the point of obsession. i want someone to be consumed by me, to crave me, adore me, and fear losing me. i want to be their weakness, their everything, and have all their love belong to me. forever and always.
i've shifted away from the "always put yourself first," and moved into "remember yourself always." there will be moments when situations ask you to consider more than just yourself. but you can always remember and take care of you.
I love somebody who’s naturally affectionate without me ever having to ask always reaching for me, hugging me, holding me close, and making me feel loved in all those little ways. I need that kind of softness and reassurance 😭😭
All women become clingy when they're with a man who makes them feel safe. Her alone time will still be sacred, but she'll want to merge her life, body, & soul with you. She'll sit on top of you, snuggle inside your arms, curl into your lap, smell you. When women feel safe, we become like cats
nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. the rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. the absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. it comes in waves. sometimes you'll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
Maybe one day, the weight my body carried will stop leaving traces on my skin. The scars will fade, the past will grow quiet. I'll glow differently then : not softer, just untouched. The future? Who knows.
