I was a career homicide prosecutor in DC. I've seen murders caught on video. I've never seen a video as impactful as the one the jury just saw in the Chauvin case. The realtime narration by the bystanders as they watched the police officers end George Floyd's life . . . my god.

@drcarroll Empathy from the patient side. Obviously we break down a lot, feel defeated a lot, but we don't always hear from clinicians about their emotions. If we did, we might all communicate better. Also, healthcare systems are broken by money & the rules that protect a co. bottom line.
