@denizselman33 Makes sense. Didn’t think the thought was based in logic or numbers. Before bungling our “4 minute situation” had a feeling of dread it would end with us going up 7 and them going for 2 w seconds left to end it. This defense has led to having some truly irrational thoughts.
@JoeKearns_PSU And (c) even if the hire is a home run, they aren’t poached away in 2 years to start this all over again. My big question: why spend your coach evaluating/networking currency on the guy beneath the guy instead of just looking for THE guy who calls play and can fix this longterm
@BenjaminSolak Is there a stat to find out where the Eagles ranked in average play clock time at snap? Feels like for the last few years it’s constantly happening just before 0 giving Ds a chance to tee off.
@AndrewBrandt I was one getting on you about this so kudos for owning it. Isn’t the big theme here there’s borderline nothing teams won’t do if they are convinced they are DOA at the QB position. Giving up assets to move on, taking unprecedented cap hits, drafting replacements so soon. New NFL
@geoffschwartz@MikeTanier Geoff is dead on here. The incredulous response is laughable. It’s on the NFL for flexing to SNF. Fitting end for this divsion. Geoff, you said as a player you’d be pissed, but in your opinion is that a feeling that can linger in the locker room or does it subside by next yr?
