@VanLathan Lowest a stock can go is zero, so the most you can lose is what you invest. For a short, you lose when the stock goes up. And there isn’t a limit to how high it can go
@KVanValkenburg To me it seems that part of the solution is to let people know exactly what was said. I think the “it was worse than you think” allows people that support it to argue it’s hyperbole and play the “it’s always like this” card.
@BrendanPorath I know this is the launch day, but having members of other teams show up when they aren’t playing really doesn’t make any sense in any other sport.
@mattyglesias Bogle said before he died that the concentration was already a problem. I think the larger divergence of opinion comes on what the solution is. It’s hard, cause index investing is clearly good as it gets more households exposure to equity markets.
@jacasiegel We were able to do an elopement in a place that we couldn’t do a normal celebration (Rocky Mountain national park) and got amazing pictures. I probably wouldn’t have changed anything. We still did a small ceremony later for family and friends.
@shanebacon I was playing in a college even with Rafa Campos. He was about 15yrds ahead of me and 30yrds left. The shank went about 20 feet over his head, and caught him a tad off guard.
@samesfandiari The Poole issue seems just a closely tied to the vet accountability, as its a point on its own. Getting punched and the org not doing a thing about it.
@JamesSurowiecki Before he died Bogel himself admitted the voting problem and concentration is a massive issue. Agree it’s a dumb tweet, but the point is about voting. Which is an issue.
