@ABOHWRH1@DeadbyDaylight My mate got a reply from a real person. He’s been unbanned, but he still can’t play. They told him it’s under investigation and could take a while.
@ABOHWRH1@LelegamerX46@DeadbyDaylight Best way I can explain: You didn't receive a game ban because they didn't push it through EAC/Steam. What they can do is temp ban your steam account and perm ban your synced account and when your steam gets 'unbanned' you still cant play. I think this is what happened.
@LelegamerX46@ABOHWRH1@DeadbyDaylight No, I didn't make a ticket. From what I’ve heard, they aren’t replying to anyone right now, so it could take around a week. Honestly, I doubt they’ll get unbanned, I think they'll use the ‘your account is associated with a permanently banned account’.
@ABOHWRH1@DeadbyDaylight showed a message explaining the ban reason, Exploits, along with the date it would end. Once that date passed and the suspension was lifted, you were able to log back into the game normally. But most still can't play because their accounts are linked to perm banned accounts.
@BROKENBRITAIN0 Funniest part is it’s actually really easy to pass, pretty sure it's like a 50% pass rate even with no prep. It’s common sense. And remember, in the UK you need a Level 3 First Responder for SIA, so don’t rely on them for anything life saving.
@RaidenThelight@DeadbyDaylight Unlink your Steam account first. If that doesn’t fix it, open a support ticket, but from what people on Discord have been saying, they aren’t responding to tickets about this issue right now.
@Procyondbd I was one of the players who got a permanent ban reduced to a temporary one. Honestly, I didn’t see that coming. But I am grateful that they reduced it.
