The world has too many celebrities. It needs more servants.
Too many influencers. It needs more builders.
Too many critics. It needs more creators.
Leadership is not standing above people.
Leadership is standing first when others are afraid to move.
For so long, Namibians have complained about airtime disappearing before they could even use it, gone before the data bundle they wanted to buy was ever subscribed to.
Most of us never knew it had a name: bill shock, being charged an amount you couldn't anticipate and most likely wouldn't agree to if you knew beforehand.
People are losing real money, automatically, without warning, at inflated rates. There's also a real inequity in who this hits hardest, the people losing the most, proportionally, are often the ones who can least afford to absorb the loss.
Last week, after sharing my own experience on LinkedIn, the office of MTC's Chief Commercial Officer reached out for a potential meeting.
We won't get everything right immediately. But at the end of the day, we'll get it right, because the conversation has finally started and I'm happy for the progress.

NAMIBIAN GROWN BANANAS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE SHELVES | The second most widely consumed fruit in Namibia is now being locally produced and is available for purchase at Checkers Maerua Mall.
In collaboration with AvaGro Etunda Green Scheme and a local wholesaler, a total of 2.5 tonnes of bananas were recently harvested from the Etunda trial site on 08 May 2026, following their planting in January 2025.
This is a step towards strengthening local fruit production and reducing reliance on imports.

The older I get, the more I believe happiness lives in the ordinary. Pets. Plants. A quiet morning coffee. Blue sky. Cotton clouds. Birds singing. The gentle breeze through the trees. A clean, cosy house. Good food. Good hearted simple poeple. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here. And somehow, one of the sweetest feelings is knowing I get to wake up and meet it all again tomorrow.
