@TheMysteriousGX Your Montana sunrise in winter is already 8am. So kids already going to school in the dark with icy roads. Just admit you don’t like kids being able to play into the evenings in summer and want it dark by 8pm
@working_golfer@MinSub4 No one but Churio had to “fight off” balls because he wasn’t locating. After 2 walks, you let him keep struggling until he proves he can put it in the zone.
Either way, if he’s tipping pitches, it’s not illegal. Mets did it to us vs our closer 2 years ago in the playoffs too.
Twitter discourse around the Brewers in the NLDS so far:
After game 1: It was the roof! They can’t win without it!
After game 2: They’re stealing signs! They can’t win without it!
@working_golfer@MinSub4 Same could be said for Padres in Miz outing. He had highest whiff rate of any starter with his 4 seamer all year, yet suddenly only 3 whiffs vs padres?
Or it’s just playoff baseball…
@TheMysteriousGX But it’s not light at 11pm like you made up..
And you’ve already conceded that low horizon morning light is important.
Majority of US would keep pre 9am sunrise. But let’s everyone year round keep morning sunrise light in reasonable hours, not 4am
I hope @Brewers fans know how lucky they are to listen to @JLevering4 on the radio and @BAndersonPxP on TV all season. You can bet we’ll be talking about the masterclass Jeff Levering put on last night in Sports Broadcasting class tomorrow. #ThisIsMyCrew
Some fans are getting triggered over this. Look, if Miller is tipping his pitches, and if Frelick picks up the visual cue from second base, and then confidently relays a signal to Chourio, that's not cheating... it's just good heads-up baseball, good communication, and good teamwork. (Side note: Milwaukee knows a thing or two about crushing a Miller.)
@TheMysteriousGX Yes. But there’s no sunset at 11pm in the US.
Worst case scenario is 10pm in parts of North Dakota. So what’s the issue with permanent daylight time?
@TheMysteriousGX@jasonrantz Now I know you’re just making things up. The latest peak summer sunset in the continental US is a small portion of North Dakota at 10pm for 3 days.
@TheMysteriousGX@jasonrantz Solar noon is only really relevant if you have perfect 12 hours of sunlight.
Otherwise scientifically it’s more important to get low horizon sunlight to set your circadian rhythm. And with permanent daylight for northern climates, that means 4am wake ups, which isn’t practical
