This week started with administration officials refusing to acknowledge that Russia started the war in Ukraine. It ends with a tense, shocking conversation in the Oval Office and whispers from the White House that they may try to end all U.S. support for Ukraine. I know foreign policy is not for the faint of heart, but right now, I am sick to my stomach as the administration appears to be walking away from our allies and embracing Putin, a threat to democracy and U.S. values around the world.

Jean Hill Chaudhuri served as executive director of the Tucson Indian Center, the Traditional Indian Alliance, and founded the first off-reservation Indian Health clinic in Tucson.
The ceremony coincided with two days of performances at Tornabene Theatre of the play "On the Far End," which tells the life story of Jean Hill Chaudhuri, a Muscogee (Creek) Nation activist and Jonodev Chaudhuri's mother.
Guests included Muscogee (Creek) Nation Principal Chief David Hill and Ambassador Jonodev Chaudhuri, as well as Naomi Miguel, executive director of @WhiteHouseAIAN.
Ahead of today's recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day, the university on Saturday was proud to host a delegation from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation for another ceremony to unveil a sign with Native language.
