@dieworkwear For me, at least, the online shopping experience sucks. I like to try clothes on to see how it looks when I'm wearing it. I often fit a M, L or XL all within the same company. Sometimes I think a colour is going to look great and then it doesn't. Sigh. What to do? :/
We don't spend enough time making fun of people who refer to their spouse as their "partner." Arguably one of the first major milestones on our mass descent into giving wussy names to literally everything.
Really glad I never have to take the streetcar during the week. Couldn’t get on two King cars, so went up to Queen and the streetcar that was supposed to be here 4 minutes ago is nowhere to be found.
In the wake of U.S. President Trump’s threatened and still looming broad-based tariff threat, continued talk of destabilizing Canada’s economy to coax us to become the 51st State, and now the threatened imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminum, there can be no doubt that immediate action must be taken to shore up our economy and protect Canada’s economic sovereignty.

@DavidColetto What's an economic conservative/cultural progressive? Is it someone who doesn't think gvt should fund child/dental care but is pro same sex marriage/abortion for example? I see those cultural issues as basically mainstream today. Maybe not? So not sure who these 21% of Cdns are?
@_LukeBradley Just read the replies.. he doesn't want to pay until he needs it (probably in 5 years).. which to me sounds like he only wants system users to have their taxes go toward education when the time is right. Wait till he finds out how high his taxes would be for those years.🙃
Donald Trump's tariff threats put Canada on notice: complacency is not an option. In a @globeandmail op-ed, our President & CEO, Giles Gherson, breaks down what’s at stake for our economy and the steps needed to safeguard our future. https://t.co/hu3LajwuZq
@jm_mcgrath@DanielKitts My (rusty) recollection is that when she was younger she had ties to the federal Liberal party (I think she may have even been a staffer?). Once provincially elected she cut federal ties and has kinda nibbled around the Business Liberal, Red Tory edges since.
@dmrider I get the "why pay someone else's mortgage when you can pay your own" logic, but if the money I'm putting into investments + rent allows me to live the life I want and be set-up for success down the road, then I'm happy to pay someone else's mortgage.
Last week our poll w/ @IpsosCanada revealed a majority of GTHA residents have thought about leaving our region to escape our notorious gridlock.
It’s time to make a U-Turn.
