Přesně tahle odpověď mi v ruce chybí. A je to úřední přiznání, které mluví za vše.

Ministerstvo černé na bílém píše tři věci. Že uznat nizozemské schválení může, stejně jako pět států EU. Že ho čl. 39 k čekání nenutí. A že po týdnech nemá uzavřené ani jedno ze tří kritérií, která si samo veřejně stanovilo. Žádný výsledek, žádné datum.

Tak si to pojďme ujasnit. Buď chcete další testy v českých podmínkách, a pak očekávám konkrétní odpověď: kdy, kde, jak, kdo je provede a kolik to bude stát. Nebo přiznáte, že žádné testy nepotřebujete, protože to sami v té odpovědi píšete, a pak není na co čekat. Třetí možnost, tedy mlčet a odkazovat na jednání 30. června, kde podle programu žádné hlasování není, není stanovisko. To je natahování času.

Po státu nechci, aby cokoli protlačil bez posouzení. Námitky se mají brát vážně. Chci po něm jediné, co od úřadu čekám: vlastní názor. Podložen, s daty a s termínem. A ten v téhle odpovědi nevidím.

Moje interpelace na pana ministra běží dál a odpověď na ni teprve přijde. Ptám se v ní přesně na tohle. @BednarikIvan @min_dopravy

This idea from some people that the government should heavily tax @elonmusk - the world's best capital allocator - and transfer a significant portion of that wealth to the government, one of the worst capital allocators, makes little sense, especially since much of his earned wealth exists because the companies he built have become far more valuable by creating products and services people value and are willingly to pay for.

Elon may have a high net worth, but virtually all of it is tied up in company stock. He doesn't have tens of billions of dollars in cash. Taxing his wealth would likely force him to sell significant amounts of that stock, putting downward pressure on the share price and negatively affecting millions of people who themselves own shares in those companies directly or through ETFs, mutual funds, pension funds, and 401(k)s.

I think I saw somewhere that Elon's companies have paid over $100 billion in salaries. Those salaries are taxed. Beyond that, his companies have already generated enormous economic value for America and the other regions that his companies operate in.

You want Elon Musk to do good for the world? Great, he already is:
• Tesla: Accelerating the transition to sustainable energy and developing safety technologies like FSD that saves lives.
• SpaceX: Expanding internet access through Starlink in underserved and low-income regions, saving the U.S. government $40 billion (according to the Pentagon), and restored America's ability to launch astronauts from American soil again.
• Neuralink: Giving paralyzed individuals new levels of independence with brain chips. Next, they aim to give blind people the ability to literally see.

Taking capital away from someone who has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to turn it into productive businesses, jobs, innovation, and economic growth, and handing it to a government with a far less effective track record of capital allocation - doesn't strike me as a good trade. Elon's wealth isn't a bug in our system, it's a feature of living in a country where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to build companies that create enormous value for society.

While Czech officials continue talking about committees, evaluations, procedures and delays, Belgium has just moved forward and approved Tesla FSD Supervised.

The contrast could not be clearer.

Belgium looked at the technology and made a decision.

Czechia looked at the technology and decided to wait for someone else to make the decision first.

This is exactly why some countries lead and others follow.

Innovation does not wait for bureaucracy.

Congratulations to Belgium for moving forward while Czechia remains stuck in analysis mode.

The Belgian Minister got it done in a matter of weeks

The testing is already done, approved by the EU’s most trusted Type Approval authority: the RDW

They are trusted in their judgment for everything related to vehicle and road safety, why not trust them now?

Belgium decided to do 5.000 km of extra testing and now it’s approved and tomorrow the first software updates will start downloading to the vehicles

Ministerstvo dopravy se vyjádřilo k Tesla FSD. Pojďme to rozebrat bod po bodu a srovnat s realitou:

❌ „Schválení platí jen v Nizozemsku"
→ Litva, Estonsko a Dánsko ho už převzaly vzájemným uznáním. Dánsko den před vydáním téhle zprávy. MD o něm nenapsalo ani slovo.
❌ „Většina klíčových států vyčkává"
→ Každý stát, který zatím rozhodl, řekl ANO. 4 ze 4. Žádný neodmítl. Belgie dokončila testy, Lotyšsko a Řecko jednají.

❌ „Nejsme technická zkušebna, museli bychom zajistit odborné posouzení"
→ Není co testovat. RDW testovalo 18 měsíců a 1,6 milionu kilometrů. Litva, Estonsko ani Dánsko netestovaly NIC, jen uznaly hotové schválení. Nepotřebujete zkušebnu. Potřebujete podpis.
❌ „Klíčové je jednání výboru EU 30. června"
→ 30. června není naplánované žádné hlasování. Jen „projednávání". Čekat na schůzi, kde se nerozhoduje, znamená čekat na nic.

❌ „Týká se to jen ~300 vozidel"
→ 300 je tak maximálně počet lidí, kteří si koupili funkci, kterou 10 let nejde zapnout. V ČR jezdí ~13 000 Tesel a Českem denně tranzitují tisíce dalších. Měřit zájem počtem kupců nefunkční funkce je kreativní statistika. Tato dezinformace již byla uvedena na pravou míru pomocí community note.
❌ „Je to jen asistent úrovně SAE 2"
→ Přesně tak! Stejná právní kategorie jako adaptivní tempomat. Tak proč měsíce „posuzování" bez výsledku a bez termínu a nesmyslné čekání na verdikt EU?

FSD Supervised je bezpečnostní systém. Druhý pár očí, který není nikdy unavený, opilý ani rozptýlený. Každý měsíc odkladu jsou zbytečné nehody, kterým šlo zabránit.
Není potřeba nic testovat. Není potřeba nic vyvíjet. Stačí jeden podpis.

🚀SpaceX has successfully launched the largest rocket in the world

This was the second launch attempt of the Starship V3 system with the Super Heavy booster. The rocket stands 124 meters tall and was designed for Moon and Mars missions.

The test flight lasted about an hour — the heavy booster landed in the Gulf of Mexico, while the Starship spacecraft completed a partial orbit around Earth before making a planned splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

This is why I was excited to start seeing FSD videos come from Europe, because these types of scenarios pretty much don't exist in the US/Canada. Many parts of Europe have very old and small roads, and very walkable cities, creating challenging driving scenarios with lots of people, bikes, walking into the street, etc, especially in Amsterdam.

Based on what we've seen in the last week, FSD is nailing all of it. Its situational awareness is great, despite the all chaos and variables in this type of environment.

@SawyerMerritt It is sooooo ugly. Try to look on any specific detail and you will find ugly every single piece. Even such a weird thing like rear air vents is ugly by BMW. Look at that shape of back of headrest.....🤦I know it is matter of taste, but this is not normal.

@Teslarati I got mine right before Christmass and black outed light bar right away. I've just done 2000 miles with it and car is great, BUT charging performance is worst I've ever experienced with any Tesla, at least here in Europe. Please test real 10-80% charging time there.
