@austennispro@garagegymreview That is a tough question to answer on twitter. Everyone at that stage is very different. I would suggest working with an @itpatennis Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (CTPS) who can evaluate the athlete and provide a personalized program https://t.co/hgSfvGtvTx

Rotational power is important. But the ability to control and decelerate rotation may be even more important.
I enjoyed sharing some thoughts with Men’s Journal on why rotational stability and anti-rotation training matter.

"Coaches are absolutely critical to the growth of our sport,” Kovacs said in a quote for USA TODAY Sports via USTA Coaching. “They impact players at every level, from introducing someone to the game to helping an elite player reach their potential.“ https://t.co/qtF9g4EkrW @usta
@mattracquet It has always been a way overblown stat. None of the great coaches over focus on it. Matches are usually decided by less than 6% point differential, so you need a big % of points >4 shots to win matches. Great point you show about the higher rally length on bigger points.
@mattracquet The data has never been the issue. The poor interpretation of the data and the lack of basic statistical knowledge has resulted in a generation of players, coaches (and parents) structuring training the incorrect way.

“We are as good as our coaches” says USTA Coaching.
It’s about time 🇬🇧 @the_lta 🏴 @tennisscotland prioritised investment in its coaching workforce and its clubs. They are the lifeblood of our sport.
Too much ££ and time being wasted on projects that bear little fruit.
