Military vehicles are seen passing through militant checkpoints in Pakistan. After this viral video surfaced, now the military-backed social media accounts claimed that the militants at these checkpoints were members of “peace committees.” But Locals know
Congratulations to our sisters and brothers.
The active & meaningful presence of women in the Grand Jirga organized by the brilliant PTM communicates the following messages.
First - Don't stereotype the Pashtuns.
Stereotyping the Pashtuns as a backwarded and misogynist race with aimless guns in their hands was and is a conspiracy to keep them down & mould them by force into sectarian anti-civilization structures such as the Taliban. The PTM wrong the stereotyping not by words but through field demonstrations. The PTM has effectively given a new image to the tribal areas.
Second - The Taliban proxy project has long been presented to the Afghan people and to the world as the Pashtun reality. The PTM dismantled and demolished this fake and conspiratorial reality. They presented an alternative Pashtune reality where a well known Mulavi with undisputed credentials sits with women in the same Grand Jirga. This also means that the PTM has humanized the image of Sharia which Habatullah's gang had damaged beyond comprehension.
Third - This Grand Jirga conveys a clear message to all ethnic group in Afghanistan as well. The message is get up, rip the Talib character, throw them out, re-humanize your women and raise your voice. You have moral support from our side. The message says the tribal area isn't a a remote jungle settlement untouched by civilization as you have been told for decades. We are civilized and peaceful. Don't fear us. Copy us.
Fourth - The symbolism in the Grand Jirga is also commendable. There is no display of sword, there is no sloganeering for blood and killing, there is no VIP culture, there is a genuine atmosphere of respect and adherence and there is huge NO to the Taliban culture. By the way, I am very touched by my brother Manzor Pashteen gesture of wearing a scarf which is commonly identified with the people of north eastern Afghanistan.
PTM should not provide a platform for violence and must investigate who coordinated the #PTMGermany protest and the circumstances leading to the removal of a flag. This act risks fueling hatred between two 🇵🇰🇦🇫 countries already on the verge of war and economic collapse.
We seek peace, not war.
Afghanistan flag waving at the funeral of #GilamanWazir. He always said, 'He should be buried with the Afghan flag 🇦🇫 covering his coffin.' Gilaman laid down his life challenging & exposing Pakistani military atrocities in Afghanistan and the Pashtun belt across the Durand Line😰
If the painful words, tears, & profound pain expressed by this mother fail to stir your humanity, then maybe u r on d side of d oppressor. D state has no idea how much hatred it has created in the hearts of these mothers. These mothers need your voice

She knows only two words in Urdu, "Justice Pakistan," and "Shame Pakistan," and those are enough to understand what Pakistan has been doing in #Balochistan. #MarchAgainstBalochGenocide
The Pakistani education system is so deeply unforgiving for kids who are in any way different. Those with minor learning difficulties struggle to survive. Education is geared around pressure to pass exams rather than providing a supportive environment in which to foster learning.
Pakistan's SUPARCO formed in 1961 had 2 Air Commodores, 3 Major Generals as chief, currently headed by Major General Amer Nadeem.
India's ISRO formed in 1963 had 11 chiefs all of them career scientists.
Currently headed by S.Somnath, an aero space engineer.
Feel the difference.
