I was at the Lagos State Job Fair today, and oh boyyy—the number of unemployed people in Nigeria is scary.

I intentionally didn't say 'youth' because it's not just young people looking for jobs.

This has been on my heart for a few months now:

Move fast? This means they think fast, spot opportunities before others, and boom! They make a move.

Take risks? Lol, that’s strategic thinking right there. They’re calculative and already have a backup plan if things go south.

Work a lot? This means the more they work, the better they get at spotting what works and what doesn’t, leading to smarter decisions.

And that’s literally what being SMART is!

Sometimes, you have to make a decision first before realizing what’s right for you. And it's not because you ignored wisdom, but because some lessons only stick when you feel them firsthand

I think we can learn from others' mistakes, but some lessons just don’t sink in until we experience them ourselves.

When it comes to personal choices be it career, relationships, or life decisions in general. Sometimes, you have to live it to truly get it.

I love going through the comments and quotes on tweets. It’s wild how often they open my mind to perspectives I hadn’t even considered. People do think so differently!
