It saddens us that things like this happen even with the new VRS system.
We were one of the confirmed teams and and had fully accepted our participation in the event.
This SHOULDN’T happen in a tournament claiming to fallow Valve’s requirements.
LETS SPEAK UP 🙂
@euproleague_ Series 5 violates Valve's Tournament Operation Requirements.
Three teams lost their spots in European Pro League Series 5 because TO invited too many teams and most likely gave teams that had previously declined the invitation to accept itwhich also violates TOR.
@LIEPAJASBANGA, @8sinsesports, and @Lilmixgg lost their spots in the tournament: all three teams were invited, accepted their invite and were listed in the google sheet with information about tournament and teams participating in the tournament, but were later removed because teams above them accepted the invitations.
🚨🚨🚨🚨 VRS RANKED = LOOKING FOR INVITES
Dear Organizers, as of early January 5, our VRS-ranked team “EC BANGA” is ranked #203 globally and #132 in Europe, which makes us eligible for participation in online competitions.

Urban RO 2 has finished. For the first time, 3x local teams will proudly represent Latvia on the global CS2 stage.
It’s been a 3-year journey for us organizers.
Huge ❤️ to our partners who made this possible - especially Benjamin from Betstrike and Jevģēnijs from Cyber Empire.
One of the teams we know the least about is 🇱🇻EC BANGA.
Local ESEA Main roster may feel the pressure against stronger opposition, but with @makaroffzz leading the way, we’re confident they can keep their composure and stay calm!
