@VIA_Rail No one has come by to see me or address the physical distancing issue in our train car. We’re 20min away from Ottawa, and in the 4.5hr trip, situation was never rectified. Need to do better to help #flattenthecurve & help customers maintain #physicaldistancing onboard @VIA_Rail
@VIA_Rail I’m really not sure why the SM would be directed to me when it’s not possible for passengers in this car to physically distance. I’m not sure where the SM is. I’m in 14D
@VIA_Rail I would say 80% of the seats at the window are impacted. They have someone in front and/or behind them. This isn’t for my comfort, but for maintaining public health orders
@VIA_Rail No. We were told to stay put so as not to contaminate other seats. One passenger was wrongly assigned to our car and has since moved. There are a few of us who have someone sitting right in front of us or behind us (less than 2m)
