@mchkzn @jayfournier Plus, Idaho stop means you can go when nobody is there. If a car is there first, you have to stop.

[Magda-Lena Capkun @MLC_OCSB]

@mchkzn @matthewjones_mj Actually, can’t turn left from Hawthorn onto Colonel By. Have to drive down busy Main to residential Clegg to get onto Colonel By. No reason not to allow left onto C By from N end of Main, except NCC doesn’t want pkway to be thoroughfare, but ok from Clegg or Daly… Hmmmm!

@mchkzn St. Laurent owners should build an apartment building where the Sears parking tower is, or in the vast parking lot there. Then get a grocery store in the mall. It would be a ready-made 15 min hood. @ottawacity should be encouraging this type of dev. Already so on Merivale Rd.

Thanks to ⁦@EarthRangers⁩ for their amazing presentation on climate change and biodiversity! ⁦@StGeorgeOCSB⁩ students were especially thrilled to see the animal ambassadors!

[Magda-Lena Capkun @MLC_OCSB]

@mchkzn For active use of only those that live around there. Not a very dense area.

[Magda-Lena Capkun @MLC_OCSB]

@mchkzn I would bring the St Thomas More choir to sing there at Christmas, 25 years ago!

⁦After many Covid years, @StGeorgeOCSB⁩ junior students were able to again visit the #House of Commons (amazing temporary location!) and the #SupremeCourt to learn about our parliamentary and judicial systems. The highlight is always the mock trial! Guilty or not?!

[Magda-Lena Capkun @MLC_OCSB]

@MrMacKenzie5 @StGeorgeOCSB @isabelleclermo2 @LeanneEndicott The Grade 6s were so excited to be able to have their year-end camp trip again! Great of all of you to give them this experience!

[Magda-Lena Capkun @MLC_OCSB]

@MrsJLawlor @ProjectNibi @StGeorgeOCSB @PlayJouerCanada @ocsbSEP @mrgottawa Amazing work and dedication by you and the students! Seeing tangible results (the water filtration system getting installed, engaging a major donor) really was exciting for them! And the ice cream was certainly the “cherry on top!”

So lucky to have some of Canada's Prime Ministers visit @StGeorgeOCSB school again this year! Always entertaining and informative!

@MikeHudema Unfortunately, many countries still dump garbage straight into the ocean! Was at beautiful beach in Morocco and had to jump over all the garbage, plastic & sanitary products that the ppl would just drop in the water. Used it as garbage can. No respect. Need to educate all.

A wonderful performance and Q & A, with a powerful message regarding being proud of one's culture! Thanks to @ocsbArts Incentive & @StGeorgeOCSB
