As we celebrated #WorldFoodDay today through @aphrc @right_2_food #ZeroHunger Food Festival, I was motivated by & I motivated others with the words of #AbrahamLincoln “The greatest fine art of the future will be the making of a comfortable living from a small piece of land.”

We borrowed quotes from @foodtank “Take Action, Plant a Garden”, motivating the audience to make their small spaces in urban areas pieces of fine art through #EdibleLandscaping & #KitchenGardens from the perspective of #FoodSovereignty & #RightToFood.

My compound is a piece of fine art of diverse food - fruits, vegetables & herbs.

Youth & Women groups in urban communities that we work with have made small spaces in their communities pieces of fine art.

Our Theme for the Food Festival today was “#Food, #Environment & #Climate”, connecting with the global Theme: “Water is life, water is food, leave no one behind” from the perspective of sustainability through sustainable food systems.
