Shout out to @VaDOTRVA IMC Chris Rusk who responded to a bear down on #I95. A teddy bear was found suffering from road rash, dehydration & a head injury. The bear did not remember his family & asked to stay with Rusk & bring comfort to children in crisis during traffic incidents.

It’s up to all of us to follow public health guidelines to beat COVID-19. That’s why I’m in quarantine after the G7, NATO, and Canada-EU summits. That’s why I took my Day-8 test today. And that’s why I’ll keep working from home until my 14-day quarantine comes to an end.

We love to share safe driving tips and reminders, but sometimes that probably gets a bit repetitive.

So, this morning, please drive safe - and enjoy this GIF of a puppy in a hammock 🐶

[VDOT Richmond @VaDOTRVA]

The @VaDOT Ashland Residency was "beary" surprised to see this uninvited guest in the backyard this morning 🐻
No word on if the bear left a picnic basket, or a brochure about forest fires.

In phrases such as a day's pay or five years' probation, use an apostrophe with a measurement followed by a noun (a quantity of the noun). A day of pay, five years of probation.
No apostrophe when the quantity precedes an adjective: six months pregnant, three weeks overdue.
