This is a fucking embarrassment of a franchise. We had an all nba guy. Just traded him for 1 FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK.
this continuity bullshit was being talked about all year and offseason and this fucking happens.
ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING
BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading star guard LaMelo Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks (2029, 2032, 2033), sources tell ESPN.
"Miles Bridges is entering the final year of his contract at $22.8M, and there is a growing belief among league personnel that he will be traded this summer. That speculation will only rise if the Charlotte Hornets make two selections with the No. 14 and No. 18 picks..." 🧐
Fischer: ”There's a growing expectation that the Hornets will come away with a center at No. 18 … if they don't use No. 14 on a big man. Charlotte has also been connected by numerous scouts and agents to Iowa senior Bennett Stirtz and Baylor sophomore Cameron Carr, who was clearly the foremost riser coming out of May's Draft Combine in Chicago.”
It’s very likely that I’ll have my projected Hornets draft picks as Hannes Steinbach (No. 14) and Allen Graves (No. 18).
Things can change, but I am very confident Charlotte will be very high on those players.
While I dont like Lopez fit on the Hornets, saying he’s a “project” is far from the truth, he’s gonna be a pretty good defender day 1. Plays offball a lot which will help him fit onto any team.
#Hornets fans, I just don’t see the hype around #KarimLopez.
Maybe I’m wrong, but he feels like an archetype we already have in #TidjaneSalaun. A long, athletic, clumsy big, and still very much a project.
At some point, this roster has to stop collecting upside and start filling specific needs for NOW!
We need physicality.
We need athleticism.
We need dawgs.
Guys who can defend, hit open 3s, and help us win playoff basketball.
Not another project. 🐝🔥
