Big news for equity in organ & tissue donation & transplantation (OTDT) in Canada! π₯
Our new survey of Canadian OTDT healthcare workers was critical in informing Health Canadaβs recent update to behavior-based + gender-neutral donor risk assessments AND mandatory universal NAAT testing for HIV & viral hepatitis.
This improves safety for everyone while reducing stigma.
