OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING MY LAWSUIT AGAINST META.

Because this matter is now before the American courts, I have been advised not to comment publicly on the details of the case. My attorney is available to provide clarification and comment where appropriate.

Though I am only one person with limited resources, I am prepared to stand and fight giants.

​If that fight means confronting powerful American technology companies over alleged deceptive and fraudulent conduct, conduct that I allege led to the suppression of evidence concerning the mass killing of thousands of protesters on October 29, 2025, as well as the suppression of information about kidnappings, forced disappearances, and the arbitrary imprisonment of government critics, the silencing of the media, illegitimate elections, and corruption in my native country, Tanzania, then I will fight with everything in me.

I expect Meta to come at me hard, a human rights defender facing a company with vast resources. But I do wonder what might look different if that same determination and those same resources were devoted to resisting foreign-government pressure targeting a United States human rights activist or, at the very least, if the public were given greater transparency and whole truth about how such foreign government requests targeting U.S. citizens are handled.

Californians deserve better. The American public deserves better. Tanzanians deserve better. The world at large deserves better.

I have done what I believe I must do. Now the matter rests in the hands of God and the American courts.
