@that_kind_oforc Villain? No, but antagonistic, arrogant? Sure. That's not uncharacteristic of a long-lived elf that has been in a state of conflict with the Amani for nearly a thousand years. Lor'themar also recognizes him as the rash grandson of one of their most infamous enemies.
@Seramurai_ It doesn’t matter how many games someone has. I have hundreds of digital PC games, but all of my PS5 games are physical, and 80% of my Switch games are physical. I still don’t want to see the end of physical games as an option. You gain nothing by deriding physical collectors.
@tifabro One thing I’ve learned from previous FF mobile games is that they inevitably shut down and some more quickly than others, so I personally didn’t put much time into it and definitely didn’t put money into it. Really sucks for the fans of the game though =\
@ymnis_v1 If you are actively deriding people for wanting physical games to still be a thing, you are on the wrong side of this. Gamers should be unified in supporting gamers in the ways that they want to purchase and play games, not trying to justify why physical games shouldn’t exist.
@IndieGameJoe I don't necessarily think that the policy should be changed, but I think it's absolutely insane behavior to ask for a refund if you enjoyed the game just because you can.
@Bilboswaggends4 I also have a huge digital collection of games on Steam which I enjoy, but I’m standing up for physical disc enjoyers because I believe it is important.
@Bilboswaggends4 Digital only supporters need to stop trying to attack physical disc gamers. The fact that anyone is deriding someone about physical games going away is insane behavior. I personally want the option to buy whichever version I feel like as I do currently. More options is better!
@Bilboswaggends4 I own exclusively physical games on PS5 and maybe about 80% physical on my Switch. I’m okay buying digital sometimes and that does not make me a hypocrite. I buy exclusively physical Blu-rays as well and I also have streaming services. These two things can exist together.
@SuperSisi Probably not, since I’m not spending near $1000 on a console. I have a PC and I spend 95% of my time on it and maybe 5% of my time on PS5. Not worth the investment. The lack of physical games is just a cherry on top..
@JSBlackFrost84 I have gone an entire console generation without playing games on a specific console. If I didn’t have a PC I would have lost my Xbox account. If I decided to buy only an Xbox next gen, I shouldn’t have to worry about logging into my PS account periodically to keep my library.
@Dasmesee1 Even still, digital gamers should still be advocating for the choice to buy physical. Even if these companies cut costs by ceasing physical production, there will be no price reduction for digital games. Gamers need to stand with gamers even if they don’t care about the topic.
@jnvcia Maybe, but it’s even easier for people to not be selfish if they enjoyed the game. The game is normally $5 and on sale right now for $2.99. It’s small price to pay to support devs of a game that the refunder actually liked.
@Dexerto Insane selfish behavior. The game is normally $5 and is on sale for $2.99. At the very least the payment is to support and help fund the devs for their work.
@Blackchild1101@_RemixProtocol_@VideoCardz EU requirements shouldn't affect any other region. I would also argue it's a dumb requirement for the EU to have in place. It's anti-gamer and anti-consumer.
@TLCascendant@Bilboswaggends4 Most of these aren't related issues. I'm much less worried about my Yahoo! account being closed than I am about my Steam account getting shut down. Most of the ones you posted don't even delete inactive accounts.
@Bmt2255@JoeGPLC@CutTheCap4k It's not dumb, though. If Sony can't project a positive trend in subscriptions for the upcoming year, it still puts pressure on them. They aren't only looking at current active subscriptions. What won't make a difference is if people renew by that time.
@Bilboswaggends4 I get it and that’s how I would handle it, but it shouldn’t even be a thing at all and should be advocated against. Even if it only affects a minority of players.
@Kratos5231 Maybe, but you shouldn't be advocating against players who want the option to buy physical games or deriding them. I don't own a single digital PS5 game, only physical. I use my PS5 as a Blu-ray player too. Removing options is bad for consumers.
