@rosticz $55+ per point is blessing, no greed, doesn't mean that don't have faith, it will go as high as $800 per point in next few years in worst case
Let's be honest no Wall Street desk would ever trade on a venue that shows their size to the room.
Seen @TitanExchange_ is building the first orderbook where your size, entry, and stops never leak.

Founder of @QFEX just published his full playbook on tokens and points
he spent most of his career in HFT trading crypto. QFEX itself lists no crypto and focuses on revenue-generating assets.
just read the whole article, and honestly it feels like one of those 1 in 1000 projects that really respects and values its community.
founder literally says early users should capture an unusually large share of the value they help create.
an unvested airdrop makes sense only if the product is actually better, because otherwise holders sell and leave.
that's why he calls a token launch an existential risk for most exchanges.
QFEX doesn't even list crypto markets, and its roadmap is built from user feedback and changes weekly.
he wants the rules on the table. Volume, fees, OI, deposits and referrals are economically different things, so users should know which ones earn points.
no retroactive rule changes, nobody should burn $50K in fees chasing a reward nobody defined.
he'd rather reward real early feedback and user calls than wash trading.
> Founders who publish their incentive math: almost none.
> Founders who say openly that early users should be rewarded generously: even fewer.
QFEX's CEO did both. That kind of info is usually undisclosed or hidden.
“Early users are disproportionately important to an exchange - it follows that they should probably capture an unusually large part of that value.”
remember these words. being early is everything.
you might remember this when a massive crowd floods in after the Variational’s TGE. Or when early users actually get generous rewards after the points program launch.

all activity gets counted and will be rewarded with points, it’s officially confirmed.
I'm guessing that the points program goes live in October-November, but that's just my thoughts.
not sure about you, but this is what I'm focusing on for the next couple of months, first goal is hitting $1M in volume.
gQFEX.
QFEX teased points in Discord - "might introduce a point program in the near future." then a few days later they published a 2000-word essay explaining exactly how they think about token economics
that's the tell. nobody writes that essay unless they're already building the thing
what's actually in it:
they say exchanges are the best possible business for a token launch, because users show up to earn money, not spend it. the exchange's job is making early users rich so that money cycles back into volume
then they call launching a token an existential risk. if the product isn't better than incumbents, users dump and leave. that's not marketing copy, that's a team admitting the airdrop is a test they can fail
and the part that actually matters if you're farming - they write out the fee-to-airdrop math themselves. expected rewards minus fees, spreads, funding, hedging. they say directly: if earning $1 costs $5 in fees, sophisticated users walk. they also say badly designed programs generate huge headline volume and almost no real value, and that they'd rather reward feedback and product calls than wash trading
so before anything's even confirmed, the exchange is telling you in writing what it will and won't reward
play doesn't change. trade organically across different markets, give feedback if you've got any
who you're dealing with: Flow Traders, Tower Research, Citadel, Cambridge maths. YC, General Catalyst, Paul Graham personally. 140 markets, 24/7, USDC margin, no broker. $80M+ OI built before a single point existed
