Družina Bukovnik je v ponedeljek v požaru izgubila veliko. Niso pa izgubili upanja, vztrajnosti in trdne volje.
Iskrena zahvala vsem gasilcem, ki so z veliko požrtvovalnostjo in pogumom gasili požar ter preprečili še večjo tragedijo. Enako priznanje si zaslužijo vsi prostovoljci, donatorji in posamezniki, ki na kakršen koli način pomagajo prizadeti družini.
Če bo treba, bomo prišli tudi zidat. Pomagali bomo, kot smo pomagali po poplavah.

‼️Moja velika podpora predlaganemu zakonu o pokopu in spominu žrtev prikritih grobišč.

Evropski parlament je 8. julija 2025 z veliko večino sprejel Resolucijo o ohranjanju spomina na žrtve povojnega komunističnega obdobja v Sloveniji.

Resolucija obsoja zločine komunizma ter poziva k dostojnemu pokopu žrtev, ohranjanju spomina, razkritju zgodovinskih dejstev in spoštovanju temeljnih človeških norm.

Nasprotovati dostojnemu pokopu žrtev komunizma pomeni poteptati osnovne civilizacijske norme. Pieteta do mrtvih ni vprašanje ideologije, ampak elementarne človečnosti. Prav zato je takšno ravnanje zavržno in nedostojno demokratične družbe.

EVropska resolucija je bila uradno poslana tudi Vladi Republike Slovenije in Državnemu zboru. Žal se ne predsednik 🇸🇮 vlade ne predsednica 🇸🇮 parlamenta niti predsednica 🇸🇮 države niso odzvali, kaj šele da bi ravnali v skladu s priporočili resolucije. Skrajni čas je, da Slovenija popravi to sramoto. Zato velika podpora predlaganemu zakonu, ki sledi demokratičnim evropskim normam.

Veseli me, da bom lahko Evropskemu parlamentu sporočila, da je resolucija končno upoštevana.

The end of the Ayatollah must signal the end of the age of dictators in Iran. After 47 years, it must be time for freedom.

For all those murdered, executed and forcibly disappeared;

For all those children made to grow up in fear of the regime's shackles;

For all those mothers forced to comb through bloody basements piled high with the bodies of innocents as they searched for loved ones; 

For the generations of Iranians who had to flee their homes and live in exile;

For every political prisoner tortured, executed or unjustly imprisoned;

For women, life, liberty. For Jina Mahsa Amini. For every voice forever silenced; 

For every son summarily hanged from a crane in a public square;

For every innocent European held hostage in horrific conditions by the terrorists in the IRGC;

For all the victims of the proxies of terror that the regime trained, financed, supplied and supported as they murdered thousands across the Middle East and the world over the last two generations;

For all those for whom the struggle for freedom is not political or a cause célèbre but existential;

For all those who want the people of Iran to bask in light rather than remain shrouded in darkness;

Now, Iran must be free.

Venezuela será libre. 

People in Venezuela deserve to live free after years of oppression. 

As the European Parliament has consistently affirmed, we do not consider Nicolás Maduro to be the legitimate, elected leader of Venezuela. 

The coming hours and days will be critical. The @Europarl_EN has always called for full respect for international law, support for democracy and recognition of the legitimate will of the people of Venezuela.

We will continue to support a peaceful, democratic outcome.

Res je, @ErikaPlaninsec!
Začelo se je z mojim pozivom Evropski komisiji. Proces je trajal 4 leta. 🇦🇹 je izgubila na EU sodišču. Rezultat so bili višji otroški dodatki za Slovence zaposlene v 🇦🇹, vključno s plačilom za nazaj za cca 10.000 otrok.
