#JDAcontinues: The JDA will, this year, look to complete the new Central Fire Station. The fire station will function as a modern space and is intended to cater for the current and envisaged demands for the community in the inner city of Johannesburg.

We are dealing with the issue of developments affecting roads in his Ward as well as other issues raised by the business stakeholders in the Ward.
@CoJDevPlanning and the City have put as a priority the revitalization of the South of Joburg. I will be making rounds to the other Wards in the Region to engage Councillors on how we can make the lives of residents easier.

We are dealing with the issue of developments affecting roads in his Ward as well as other issues raised by the business stakeholders in the Ward.
Today we out in full support as the @CityofJoburgZA finalises the Red Fleet Contract which will provide the City with a total of 17 vehicles to be used by the City. Congratulations to @mphophalatse1 and @LeahK28 the finalization of the contract.

One on one session with the Executive Director of @CoJDevPlanning, 2023 the Department has a lot of exciting and innovative projects that we will be embarking on to improve and deliver services to the residents of Joburg.

@CoJDevPlanning team including ED joined the EM @mphophalatse1 in Kliptown, Region D to do a follow up assessment on the heavy rains that that left infrastructure, cars and homes damaged.

We at Princess plots in Region C, one of the disaster stricken areas, to assess the impact of floods in the are . We also handed out food parcels to families #JoburgFloods
With EM @mphophalatse1 for a briefing at the Roodepoort Civic Center on the heavy rains that have destroyed a number of properties, including the city's road and energy infrastructure.

A wall fell in Bosmont as a result of the resent floods. I joined @CityofJoburgZA Assistant Director for Building Control in Region C, together with colleagues to conduct an oversight inspection.

We are in Eldorado Park with Cllr Kaldine, where heavy rains flooded residential properties.
Issues include the terrain, structures on the flood line, mixing of storm water and sewer. Team will be back with relevant departments for a coordinated intervention. @BelindaE6
I joined the @CoJDevPlanning AD for Building Control in Region C for an oversight inspection after a wall collapsed.
They assessed the damage, compiled a report on the dangers posed by the structure. They will then send to land owner (PRASA) for immediate attention. @BelindaE6
@CleanerJoburg The teams worked through the night to keep our campaign for a cleaner inner city on track. We appeal to residents and business owners to discourage any illegal dumping that would interfere with efforts to clean up our city. @mphophalatse1 and @JoburgMPD
The overflow of trash in the inner city has been a significant problem. I went on an unannounced oversight visit with MMC @RonaldHarris_, and with the help of colleagues @CleanerJoburg and @JoburgMPD, we made significant progress on waste and litter. @BelindaE6
