Doctor, from the Latin 'doctore' which means 'to teach'. It was a pleasure being able to give something back to my fellow Leicester medics. Good luck to all the Leicester medics sitting finals soon, looking forward to see you all on the other side ☺️

So teachers (FY1-->consultant!), even when it gets crazy busy, remember the medical student and get them being helpful. It will do their self-confidence (and probably your patients!) a world of good ☺️ #MedEd #medtwitter

@MMDrPegg 🏾💪🏾💪🏾 so glad you persevered!

[Dr Kumar @MMDrKumar]

@MMDrUppal ☺️❤️ aha yes, with you and the rest of #TeamMM 💪🏾

[Dr Kumar @MMDrKumar]

My maths teacher told me that she would rather get treated by her cat than by me if I ever became a doctor. I got into medicine after my third attempt and now I'm a doctor. I didn't let any of my teachers' comments bring me down. Believe in yourself and the rest will follow ☺️

[Junior Emergency Medicine @JuniorMedicine]

Many applicants are told they will never become doctors. Many people eventually give in. Others keep the fire burning. All it takes is one offer and the rest is history.
