Well, the spring semester is coming to an end. #edtc300 has taught me so much and I highly recommend this class to all #education students. Check out my summary of learning video to see all that I have learned throughout the semester. https://t.co/W5nLhjZoVO

Recently I tried out coding for my #edtc300 class. It was not as scary as I thought it was going to be! Check out my blog post to learn more about my coding experience. #coding#hourofcode https://t.co/muGiiFdrFg

The most dangerous writing prompts is an app where students write for a minimum amount of time without stopping or all their work is lost. This would be a great way to encourage students to just write what they have in mind without overthinking. #edtc300
Coding is something that is very new to me. With the site #HourofCode, it was easy for me to be introduced to the world of coding. Check out my recent blog post to read all about my first experience with coding. #edtc300 https://t.co/Kn5mJUKI8Z
The school I attended got their first 3D printer when I was in grade 12. I didn’t get to use it much but I know that the students now use it often and benefit from all it has to offer #edtc300
It is so important to encourage students to read over the summer! Ebooks allow kids to get free books that they can take with them anywhere, all on one device! #edtc300
So important to get students reading over the summer, especially if they are struggling with reading in school. The TD Summer reading club has an online section that is full of ebooks for free (just need the code from the local library) #edtc300
This is a really interesting site that helps students to study. I especially like that that it offers custom practice quizzes as I always found that quizzing myself really helps me to remember course material. #edtc300#studyquizes
Really interesting mobile site that allows students to organize work, store notes and study flashcards as well as share if the teacher allows it. And its available on any mobile device so I think it would be cool for high school students. https://t.co/z2JIH6nnBS #edtc300
Postcard creator is a great tool that offers students a ready-made template that they can fill in with their own info. This would be a great project to do after a #fieldtrip to have the students share their experience with their parents #edtc300#postcards https://t.co/7Ewx4sgGm4
This could not be more true! I had a teacher in high school who was constantly telling me that I was trying too hard. I always thought to myself, isn't it a good thing that I try my best? I guess not if my teaching is telling me not to? #wordsmatter#tryhard#encouragestudents
Being that education is forever evolving, we as teachers need to be able to adapt to new changes. This can sometimes be overwhelming so it is important to keep in mind that we can not grow and develop as educators without change. #edtc300
