@MissB53 This spoke to me. Years of wearing oversized untucked shirts that I stretched so they wouldn’t cling. I actually tuck my shirts most of the time now, and I am only halfway through my journey.
@MissB53 I had shoulder replacement surgery last month. During my first outing afterward (after being stuck at home for a couple of weeks) I got a chai at Starbucks. Yes, it has sugar. I didn’t collapse. I was super hungry for dinner that night. One drink doesn’t define me.

@RNN_RoyalNews Sussex PR: need to show PH living “his best life” on Trooping day. Call NBA. No courtside, but sit with commish. Dunce doesn’t realize commish isn’t well liked so no one comes up to feed his ego. Looks sad and bored.
@MissB53 Hard boiled eggs and bacon. I also eat small quantities of really good cheddar. Never been great with leftovers although goat cheese meatloaf is yummy reheated.
@kat_maryb@Pr31BossLife I didn’t really have keto flu because I had already reduced sugar and white flour. Electrolytes! And fatty cuts of meat so you aren’t hungry. I lost 10 lbs of inflammation instantly.
@PatsKam My best experience as a bridesmaid was “wear matte black, knee length, any sleeve”. I wore a dress I already owned. 3 of us - all different looks but still cohesive - one long, one short, one sleeveless.
@MissB53 And the gym bros are still out there commenting on every post that the only thing that matters is calories in/out. Not a one has a clue about what it’s like in a menopausal woman’s body.
@wilsonhlthcoach I have heard, “I love food too much to try carnivore”. You know, some days I’m bored. Some days I wonder if I’ll ever eat some of those things again. Then I look at my shrinking and healing body and decide that I had all of those things for years; probably got my fill.
@MissB53 I’m so glad there were carnivores resources for me to follow when I started. I jumped right into fat, and my food noise went away quickly. Healing the body takes time but I feel good. So many years of “your bloodwork is ‘fine’” when of course it wasn’t.
