@JohnCleese Isn't it impolite to have at Piers Morgan this way, while he's embroiled in combat against logic, decency and comparisons to attic-stored melba toast?
I just read this on Facebook:
Someone asked "Why do many British people not like Donald Trump?"
Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England, wrote this magnificent response:

@Eric_Conn Thank goodness Jude is trending so we can all keep ignoring or lying about Matthew 19:24. And heaven forbid we talk about the worldy/political temptation in Matthew 4.
@Hamiltonianist You mean when even that Guy Fieri eyewitness who was interviewed after noticed the person in gray cammo crawling across the white roof and tried to notify police?
@hasanthehun Which I think you might keep in mind. If he brings you on again with a cartoonish icon, meant to represent/replace the entirety of the anti-genocide movement in his audience's mind, then tries to overshadow your reason with that personification, be aware.
@hasanthehun@hasanthehun Part of Pierce's deal is to lump folks his audience finds extreme and distasteful in with an idea. So the audience hates the idea just as a byproduct of hating people who appear to support it.
He's a magic act -- swapping reason out for personal dislike.
@duncantrussell Was in line to see your show. The woman at the ticket counter was right behind me. I heard her answer the phone:
"Tonight? Duncan Trussell. He's been on Joe Rogen. He talks about DMT and LSD.
Mm hm. Bye."
@nuekerk I watched The English Patient in a mostly empty theater where a rich couple sat behind me and talked the entire time.
At the end I stood up and said "there's a reason they didn't write you two into the script."
I can't believe I wasted the opportunity on something so...dorky.
@duncantrussell Duncan, you're going to be at a club near me, on my birthday. I'm going to buy a ticket for it now. That doesn't mean you're obligated to say something funny, cosmically profound and life-changing, but it would be the nice thing to do.
@nuekerk I know, I know, I know about this podcast. I get it. And I agree. Mostly. But, you have to see this interview about David Cho, at 19, trying to find Mokele Mbembe.
Spoiler: It crosses over into ufo lore.

I'm not insisting that is the case, just wondering how we'd measure something that understands and can manipulate how we measure things, but doesn't want to be identified?
@ericweinstein If I heard correctly, you suggested we could be dealing with beings far smarter than we are. But also that we've seen insufficient evidence they exist.
How would we determine if an advanced intelligence appears to our technology as a hubcap or mylar balloon?
@SteffyEvans@Activision@Auntkaren01, do you know anybody who'd be able to track down somebody who talks like this to women who he thinks are little girls?
